Wait-Time and Rewards as Instructional Variables: Their Influence on Language, Logic, and Fate Control.

Abstract

<p>The synthesis of a liquid-crystalline diepoxide 4-[(3,4-epoxybutenyl)oxy]phenyl 4-[(3,4-epoxybutenyl)oxy] benzoate is described. The photoinitiated cross-linking of this molecule, uniaxially oriented in the nematic state, to form an ordered network is studied. This network shows an increased birefringence which is maintained at high temperatures.</p>
