Common Fixed Points Under Contractive Conditions In Symmetric Spaces

Abstract

In this paper several common fixed point theorems for selfmappings of a sym- metric space are proved. These mappings are assumed to satisfy a new property which generalize the notion of noncompatible maps in the setting of symmetric spaces.
