Levels of PFAS concentrations in the placenta and pregnancy complications

Abstract

This pilot study indicates a widespread exposure to multiple PFAS compounds in placental tissue of pregnant women in Israel. These findings warrant further validation through comprehensive national human biomonitoring initiatives.
