Summary By modifications of an earlier method, mainly in reduction of the NaCl and potassium ion concentrations, and the use of rather shallower layers of medium, the yield of diphtheric toxin has been increased from 60 to about 100 flocculating units per milliliter. Full directions for the preparation of the medium are given.
