The co-doping strategy of Bi 3+ (6s 2 ) and Sb 3+ (5s 2 ) is implemented in a zero-dimensional indium hybrid. As a result, an uncommon triplet–triplet energy transfer from Bi 3+ to Sb 3+ contributes to tunable dual emissions.
