Corynebacterium accolens inhibits Staphylococcus aureus induced mucosal barrier disruption

Abstract

<i>Corynebacterium accolens</i> cell-free culture supernatants appear to inhibit the growth of the <i>S. aureus</i> planktonic bacteria, and may reduce the mucosal barrier damage caused by <i>S. aureus</i>.
