Evaluation of platelet activation marker expression and its correlation with tumorigenesis and tumor progression in patients with gastric cancer

Abstract

We concluded that sCD40L and sCD62P molecules may be predictive biomarkers since the increase in plasma levels was associated with disease progression and metastasis in GC. In addition, the serum sCD40L and sCD62P can potentially be used as an indicator of response to anticancer therapy.
