Polymersome Colloidosomes for Enzyme Catalysis in a Biphasic System

Abstract

Eine Polymersom-stabilisierte Pickering-Emulsion wurde hergestellt und in einer enzymatischen Zweiphasenreaktion eingesetzt. Zur Stabilisierung dienten vollständig gepackte vernetzte Polymersome an der Wasser-Öl-Grenzfläche. CalB als Modellenzym (rote Bandstruktur) wurde entweder in die Wasserphase oder in das Lumen der Polymersome der Pickering-Emulsion eingebracht (siehe Bild), was seine katalytische Leistung und Wiederverwendbarkeit erhöhte.
