Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare evaluations of classroom teaching in which identical samples of instruction were evaluated under audio-only and visual-only conditions. Seven preservice teachers were recorded on video and audio tape while presenting a 10-minute classroom presentation. Video-only and audio-only recordings provided stimulus materials for evaluation.
