Abstract

Goldberger and his colleagues [1926] published the discovery of a new constituent, more heat-stable than the antineuritic vitamin (vitamin B1), in the complex previously known as " water-soluble B " This constituent, now known as vitamin B2, they called the P-P, or pellagra-preventive, vitamin, adducing much evidence that it was concerned in the prevention and cure of human pellagra.
