The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the variables of situational leadership, emotional quotient, achievement motivation and employee performance. This research uses the quantitative method. The sampling technique used in each unit at the State University of Malang (UM) uses proportional random sampling with a sample size of 301 employees. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis and path analysis. All data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 24 and SEM AMOS 24 softwares. The results of this study are; (1) situational leadership, emotional quotient and achievement motivation are in the good category, while the performance of UM employees is in the excellent category; (2) situational leadership, emotional quotient and achievement motivation have a direct influence on employee performance partially and simultaneously; and (3) both simultaneous and partial situational leadership, emotional quotient and achievement motivation have an indirect effect on employee performance.
