Abstract

Ir(<sc>iii</sc>) complexes have been widely used in bio-imaging, photocatalysis and chemical sensing. Five cyclometalated Ir(<sc>iii</sc>) complexes (<bold>Ir1–Ir5</bold>) were synthesized and characterized.
