Abstract

The present study demonstrates that central Sfrp5 signaling activates a previously unappreciated InsR-Akt-PI3k-K<sub>ATP</sub> channel pathway in the hypothalamus and brain-hepatic vagus neurocircuitry to decrease HGP and VLDL-TG secretion.
