Abstract

Pediatric IBS/FAP-NOS could be differentiated from IBD by fecal VOC analysis with high accuracy, but not from healthy controls. The latter finding limits the potential of fecal VOCs to serve as a diagnostic biomarker for IBS/FAP-NOS.
