Experimental investigations of potassium chemistry in premixed flames

Abstract

Optical measurements of alkali species in premixed laminar flames seeded with KCl. Quantitative species concentrations have been evaluated from experimental data. Measurements show good agreement with predictions of a chemical mechanism.
