Abstract

Abstract A stereoselective synthesis of entecavir, an anti‐hepatitis B (HBV) drug, was accomplished by a regioselective isopropylidene cleavage, stereoselective Sharpless epoxidation, and Ti III ‐mediated regio‐ and stereoselective epoxide cleavage as key steps.
