Abstract

This study examines the relationship between principal leadership and teacher collaboration in Turkish primary schools. Using multilevel modeling, data from 2,762 teachers in 175 schools were analyzed. The findings indicate that principal leadership is significantly associated with the level of teacher collaboration. Specifically, principals who demonstrate instructional leadership and provide support for teacher professional development foster higher levels of collaboration among teachers. These results suggest that effective principal leadership plays a crucial role in promoting collaborative practices in schools.
