Abstract

Donor pretreatment with FK506 combined with posttransplantation FK506 therapy and splenectomy suppresses the outlet antigen, immunoglobulin M production, and lymphocyte activation, thereby prolonging the graft survival in hamster-to-rat heart xenotransplantation.
