The method has been used for up to 22 months of drainage and is likely to be of principal benefit in the management of obstructive nephropathy in adults when the primary lesion is not readily amenable to repair. There have been no serious complications in our 4 cases. © 1975 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByGerber W, Brown R and Culp D (2018) Percutaneous Nephrostomy with Immediate DilationJournal of Urology, VOL. 125, NO. 2, (169-171), Online publication date: 1-Feb-1981.Link D, Leff R, Hildel J and Drago J (2018) The Use of Percutaneous Nephrostomy in 42 PatientsJournal of Urology, VOL. 122, NO. 1, (9-10), Online publication date: 1-Jul-1979.R.C.S.
