Some Aspects of the Drying and Heating of Textiles

Abstract

Summary Fabric temperatures and rates of drying have been investigated using “infra‐red” heating. Fabrics show two steady temperatures during drying. The lower ocours during the period of the constant drying rate; the higher occurs when the fabrics are dry.
