A total of 31 cucumber genotypes of diverse origin were assessed for nature and magnitude of association among various yield and its contributing characters. Correlation analysis indicated that yield was positively correlated with fruit weight, fruit length and flesh thickness at both genotypic and phenotypic levels. Path coefficient analysis revealed that characters such as fruit weight, number of fruits per plant, flesh thickness and node number of first female flower are highly dependable and reliable for selection to improve yield.
