Abstract

Summarizes the main findings from a series of other reports on the study. Concludes that centers deliver comprehensive and consistent services. Furthermore, Job Corps makes a meaningful difference in educational attainment and earnings; gains are found across most groups of students and types of settings. Finally, the program is cost-effective, with benefits to society exceeding costs of the program by nearly $17,000 per participant.
