Copper(<sc>ii</sc>) complexes with simple and mixed ligands, [Cu(L)(ClO<sub>4</sub>)] and [Cu(L)(diimine)]ClO<sub>4</sub>were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-vis, FT-IR, electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) and electrochemical studies.
