Epidemiology of Recurrent Cerebral Infarction

Abstract

Patients with recurrent stroke have, on average, poorer outcomes than those with first stroke. To be as accurate as possible, clinical policy analyses should use different estimates of health and cost outcomes for first and recurrent stroke.
