The purpose of our study was to determine the effect of microirrigation and organic fertilization on the vitality of Scots pine ( Pinus sylvestris l.) seedlings and their mycorrhizal structure, as well as the occur - rence of soil mites (acari) after treatment of edaphon inoculation. nursery experiments were carried out in 2003-05. It was found that studied factors influenced seedling vigour, mycorrhizal colonization, soil properties and the occurrence of mites.
