Anticancer activity of genistein on implanted tumor of human SG7901 cells in nude mice

Abstract

Genistein was able to induce apoptosis of transplanted tumor cells. This apoptosis may be mediated by down-regulation of the apoptosis-regulated gene Bcl-2 and up-regulation of apoptosis-regulated gene bax.
