This analysis explores the impact of emerging technologies on teaching, learning, research, or information management in Australian tertiary education over the next five years. These technologies are presented within three adoption horizons (one year or less; two to three years; four to five years). The 12 'technologies to watch' reflect the opinions of experts consulted as to which technologies considered will be most important to Australian tertiary education over the five years following the publication of this paper.
