Abstract

1. Prothrombin deficiency has been produced in rats by feeding an adequate diet containing 20% by weight of mineral oil. 2. The subcutaneous administration of Vitamin K corrected the prothrombin deficiency; activated ergosterol definitely improved the deficiency; Vitamin A had no effect on the deficiency.
