[The effect of the mean platelet volume on the short-term prognosis of acute myocardial infarct].

Abstract

The results of this study suggest that the increase of mean platelet volume on admission is an independent risk factor for cardiac heart failure and is associated with a non significant higher rates of ischemic events during the recovery phase of acute myocardial infarction.
