This paper illustrates a motor imagery BCI-based robotic arm system. To control a robot arm with multiple freedoms, BCI system should provide multi-commands. We build a novel MI-based BCI protocol, which applies three mode of MI to output eight commands. A control strategy is used to simplify the movement control of robot arm. The validity of this system is verified by experiments in real and virtual environment.
