Combinatorial chemistry: Direct analysis of bead surface associated materials

Abstract

Abstract Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry has been used to analyse the results of solid‐phase combinatorial chemistry on a single bead. A single component from a five‐membered combinatorial library was positively identified using the method outlined in this paper.
