Abstract An apparatus is described for studying the scattering from polymer films at angles to within 0.1° from the incident beam. A temperature‐controlled chamber for carrying out these measurements at elevated temperatures is also described. The performance of the apparatus in measuring the scattering from a polyethylene film is illustrated.
