Three experiments were conducted to determine the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) on feed intake by horses, sheep and swine. These data indicate that garlic increased feed palatability in horses, but not daily intake or serum lipids in sheep or swine, nor performance in pigs or digestibility in sheep.
