This book looks at relationships involving teachers in schools and explores the political meanings they attribute to their everyday encounters with administrators (especially headteachers), other teachers, pupils and parents. Basing his findings on one long-term case study of one secondary school and several other qualitative studies, Joe Blase concentrates in particular on the teacher's perspective.
