Abstract Coupling an oblique angle laser illumination system to a four‐media sample structure and a Raman microprobe spectrophotometer allowed us to obtain non‐resonant Raman spectra of very thin Langmuir–Blodgett films. Spectra of films as thin as 75 Å were recorded.
