Abstract

Lipoprotein subclasses are more associated with subclinical atherosclerosis in patients with SLE than the lipid variables that are routinely measured. The IDL fraction, which is significantly modulated by the APOE genotype, is the most strongly, significantly, and positively correlated with IMT.
