Abstract

Nicotine upregulated RANKL and antioxidant defense enzymes. These data suggest that Nrf2-mediated induction of cellular antioxidants and phase II enzymes could contribute to the cellular defense against nicotine-induced cytotoxicity and osteoclastic differentiation in PDL cells.
