Abstract

EndoS deglycosylation converts pathogenic NMO-IgG autoantibodies into therapeutic blocking antibodies. EndoS treatment of blood may be beneficial in NMO, and may be accomplished, for example, by therapeutic apheresis using surface-immobilized EndoS.
