Long-term follow-up on five patients with immature teratoma of the ovary with residual metastatic Grade 0 disease following chemotherapy is reported. All five patients are free of progressive disease 40–96 months following original diagnosis. The concept of ‘retroconversion’ following chemotherapy for immature teratoma of the ovary is reemphasized. Cancer 50:159–162, 1982.
