Neurocognitive indices of executive hypercontrol in obsessive–compulsive disorder

Abstract

Obsessive-compulsive patients exhibit an impairment of executive functions, especially when tasks also require visuospatial abilities. The impairment might reflect a hyperactivity of the executive control.
