Abstract In an earlier work1we have investigated an oriented crystal of pyrimidine at liquid nitrogen temperature using polarized infrared radiation. The static field effect for an A2 mode (16a) and correlation field splitting for fourteen fundamentals have been observed1. This paper reports the Raman spectrum of crystalline pyrimidine at liquid nitrogen temperature.
