Quadrature method of evaluating overlaps using Morse oscillators

Abstract

Using Morse oscillators, the overlap integrals have been evaluated by Gauss–Laguerre quadrature method for the B 1Σ+–X 1Σ+ band system of BH radical observed in sunspot spectra. The Bv values for a few vibrational levels of X 1Σ+ and B 1Σ+ states of the BH radical have been evaluated using Gauss–Laguerre quadrature method to test the accuracy of the method.
