Geared Five-Bar Motion: Part I—Gear Ratio Minus One

Abstract

Algebraic, geometric, and kinematic properties are derived for the curve generated by a point on the axis of the joint connecting the two floating links of a geared five-bar mechanism having a gear ratio of minus one.
