An electronic medical record-linked biorepository to identify novel biomarkers for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease

Abstract

Our study demonstrates the feasibility of establishing a biorepository of plasma, serum and DNA, with relatively rapid annotation of clinical variables using EMR-based algorithms.
