Outcome of teenage pregnancy in Maputo, Mozambique

Abstract

Among the selected, high-risk hospital population of a developing country young maternal age, both by itself and in association with other risk factors, represents an important predictor of adverse perinatal outcome for mothers and babies. Implications for family planning and reproductive education programs are discussed.
