Highly α-Selective Glycosylation with Glycopyranosyl Fluorides Having Diethylthiocarbamoyl Group

Abstract

Abstract Highly α-selective glycosylation of various glycosyl acceptors with glucopyranosyl fluoride having diethylthiocarbamoyl group at 6-position or galactopyranosyl fluoride having the same group at 4-position proceeded smoothly in the presence of a catalytic amount of protic acid to afford the corresponding disaccharides in high yields.
