ABSTRACT The chemical composition of the essential oil of Thymus riatarum Humbert et Maire (Lamiaceae), an endemic species of Morocco, was determined by capillary GC and GC/MS. The major constituents found were carvacrol (22.3%), p-cymene (17.5%) and α-terpinene (10.3%).
