Polymorphisms of CD14 gene and TLR4 gene are not associated with ulcerative colitis in Chinese patients

Abstract

No TLR4 Asp299Gly mutation was detected in any patients or healthy controls in the Chinese Han population, which was similar to Japanese subjects, but the mutation occurred in 10% of the Dutch white subjects. There were no significant differences of CD14 genotypes between healthy controls and the patients with UC.
