Finite translations in time and energy

Abstract

Commuting time translations and electric translations are used for the specification of time dependent solutions of the Schr\"odinger equation for a Bloch electron in a periodic in time electric field. Explicit one-band expressions are found for the quasienergies and the corresponding time dependent solutions.
