The optimal parameters for 31P-detected 103Rh HMQC NMR spectroscopy of AMX spin systems (A = 31P; M and X = 103Rh) have been derived and applied to adducts of Rh2[(R)-MTPA]4 with PPh3 (1) and a chiral phosphane (2). It is shown that all nuclei (1H, 13C, 31P, and 103Rh) reflect the diastereomerism of the latter complex. (© Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2002)
